The first time I picked up full-frame DSLR camera was in Cleveland, Ohio. I can still remember the *crunch* the shutter made. I'd received a Canon Rebel as a Christmas gift a few years earlier but was largely clueless how to use it. I was almost overwhelmed by the components of photography: shutter speed, aperture and ISO. I watched a few YouTube videos and started to imitate some of my favorite creators.
Before I knew it, I was hooked.
Photography is so much more than just an image in your phone. It represents a moment created into artwork that preserves the feelings and people you experienced it with. A perfect photograph can make all of those feelings come rushing back to your memory.
I'm a people-pleaser by nature, so I want you to love the images I capture just as much as I do. Whether it's waking up early to catch an epic sunrise or chasing a dramatic thunderstorm, each scene has its own unique beauty. Capturing that for myself and others to enjoy is a daily challenge that excites me.
The style of my photography first and foremost, is intimate. I want the viewer of my images to feel my awe and appreciation for the beauty I see in the moment. My ultimate goal is to share moments I've witnessed through the lens with people.
